A fantastic classic children’s magic routine from Jim Jayes that packs flat but plays BIG!
 
The magician displays a black bag covered with white spots along with a black handkerchief and a white handkerchief. The performer announces that he’s going to magically cause the two handkerchiefs to change colors.
 
The handkerchiefs go into the bag, the magic happens…and apparently the black one has changed to white while the white one has changed to black!
 
Of course, the kids aren’t buying it!
 
After plenty of comedy by-play, the magician tries again. This time something really does happen—the bag becomes black and the two handkerchiefs become covered in spots!
 
But there’s a problem…
 
One Spot is missing!
 
The magician begins calling for “Spot!”, looks inside the bag and announces that he’s found him.
 
For the big surprise finish, the entire bag is turned inside out and transforms into a large Dalmatian hand puppet named Spot!
 
It’s a terrific routine for children’s and family entertainers, combining visual magic, the classic “magician in trouble” premise, audience interaction, and a surprise puppet finale.
