Swadling Swindles is a collection of Bob Swadling’s lecture material featuring a selection of his creative close-up and stage magic. The original lecture notes contain 29 pages of material and offer a look into the thinking and methods of one of magic’s highly regarded creators. The Academy of Magical Arts’ William W. Larsen Memorial Library catalogs Swadling Swindles as a first-edition lecture-note publication. 
Bob Swadling became particularly respected for ingenious mechanical and close-up magic. He created and manufactured numerous effects and later became known for precision-made apparatus including coin magic and his famous changing-card work. He has also performed at The Magic Castle and internationally.
