A classic of visual comedy magic and one of Tenyo’s most recognizable stage/parlor effects!
The magician displays a large domino-style card showing one spot on one side and four spots on the other. But when the card is turned around again, something has changed—there are now three spots! Turn it over once more and the four have mysteriously become six.
At this point, the magician can seemingly explain how the trick works, letting the audience think they’ve figured everything out. Just when they’re convinced they know the secret, the spots continue to appear, building to an impossible surprise ending.
What’s Next? is a wonderful audience-participation piece because spectators quickly become involved, calling out what they think the magician is doing—only to discover they're being fooled all over again.
